Welcome to Transportation & Parking Services
Providing vital parking services, including permits and event parking for the Cal Poly community, TAPS is also committed to helping Cal Poly decrease its greenhouse gas emissions, ensuring free public transportation for students and staff to campus from throughout the county, increasing safety with an on-campus evening shuttle, and creating a Best Workplace for Commuters (recognized multiple times so far).
TAPS is a self-sustaining department that pays employee salaries with parking permit sales. All the money generated from parking citations goes to creating and maintaining rideshare and commuting programs.

Beware of Parking Permit Scams
Cal Poly Public Safety is aware of a parking permit scam circulating in the community. Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) is the only authorized seller of Cal Poly parking permits. Permits purchased from third parties or second-hand sources may be invalid or fraudulent.
Please purchase permits directly through TAPS.
