Campus occupants and visitors will observe construction activities that will temporarily block the Fleet Services building driveway.

Parking spaces at the south end of Fleet Services and along Truckee Road will be closed. The gas pumps will remain open during construction.

Please observe all traffic control measures, parking stall closures and exercise caution when traveling near active work sites.

Temporary construction fencing will be installed at each location for Summer 2026 Landscape Improvements.

Vehicular traffic on California Boulevard will be closed from Campus Way to the John Madden Football Center driveway while road and utility work is performed.

Through traffic will be unavailable between Campus Way and Highland Drive. Access to driveways, parking lots, ancillary roads, etc. will be maintained via detour routes.

To construct a new gravity sewer main across California Boulevard and pedestrian pathway as part of the Water Reclamation Facility Project.

Campus occupants will experience construction activity, equipment, and concrete work on Truckee Road at the new Student Success Center project.

A portion of Truckee Road will be fully closed. Parking Lots H-4E and H-4D will remain open and will be accessible via East Safety Way and Truckee Road.

The road will re-open at 5:00 p.m. Thursday night and close again Friday morning at 5:00 a.m.

Building occupants and visitors may observe the presence of personnel, construction activity and related noise while performing roofing repairs.

Please observe all work site signage and exercise caution when near active work sites.

For roofing repairs to stop water intrusion into the PAC Pavillion.

There will be a reduction in trash, recycling, and organic waste services throughout campus over the summer.

As you prepare for summer, please do not overload trash/recycling bins in classrooms, offices, or other spaces, as custodial staff must manage this waste and heavy/overfilled bins can lead to injuries.

To implement a waste-efficiency strategy during periods of reduced waste generation over the summer months.

Electrical service will be temporarily unavailable for two thirty-minute intervals. First 30 minute power outage will occur between 5:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Second 30 minute power outage will occur between 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Please consider department-owned equipment that may be impacted by an electrical outage and prepare accordingly.

This maintenance/work may temporarily disrupt IT services, including access to Wi-Fi, the campus network, computer labs, and other online tools. If your equipment powers down during this work, please restart it once service is restored.
