The C6 parking lot will be closed and adjacent sidewalks will be partially restricted. Alternate pedestrian pathways will be accessible. Campus community will observe construction fencing, activity, and noise. Please observe all signage and exercise caution when traveling near an active work site. Erection of fencing begins Tuesday, June 15, 2021. |

Why: | Parking lot closure and fencing are part of construction of the new Dining Complex Building 19. The new Dining Complex will enhance student dining experience with three dining zones, nine dining concepts, and an open air market atmosphere. Dining Complex Buildings 19 and 19A are closed to all unauthorized entry. The facility is being decommissioned to prepare for construction and renovation. Fire and Life Safety Systems are not fully operational. No unauthorized individuals may enter the buildings. For authorization please contact Gil Bastidas, Project Manager for Facilities Planning and Capital Projects at 805-235-2655. |
