Fire and Life Safety Systems Testing - Multiple Buildings

Affected Services:	Occupants may observe the presence of personnel in the building conducting fire and life safety systems testing, including fire alarms and fire door systems. Occupants may observe audible alarms, strobe lights, fire door testing, and audio instructions in select buildings. Occupants may notice reduced water pressure from fixtures in kitchens and restrooms due to fire suppression testing. Evacuation is not necessary.

Affected Services:	The driveway beginning at Grand Avenue leading to the Avila Residence will be closed. Please observe all pedestrian and traffic control measures and exercise caution near active construction zones.

Why:	Construction Activity and Driveway Closure - Avila Residence Building 129 For infrastructure repair and driveway repaving.
Alternate Routes:	Personnel and contractors needing access to the Avila Residence will be directed to use the access route behind the Yosemite dorms.

Partial Road Closure - Truckee Road
Schedule	Aug 27, 2026, 07:00 am — Sep 23, 2026, 05:00 pm
Affected Services:	A portion of Truckee Road between Village Drive and East Safety Way will be temporarily closed to vehicular and foot traffic. The east entrance to parking lot H-4d will be inaccessible for the duration of the closure. Campus occupants and visitors may observe construction-related activity and noise. Please observe all traffic control measures, and exercise caution when traveling near active work sites.

Partial HVAC Outage - Science Building 52

Affected Services:	Heating and ventilation will experience a service interruption for the duration of the repairs. The work being performed will affect rooms E-8 through E-19. Occupants may notice the presence of facilities personnel in the building along with possible temperature fluctuations.

Why:	Partial HVAC Outage - Science Building 52 To replace failed parts of HVAC equipment.

Domestic Water Outage - Faculty Offices North Building 47
Schedule	Jun 23, 2026, 08:00 am — TBD
Affected Services:	Domestic water service will be temporarily unavailable to areas for the second and third floors. Areas including drinking fountains, water stations, and restrooms, and custodial closets will be impacted. Please observe work area signage and exercise caution when near active work sites.
Affected Location:	Faculty Offices North Building 47: Second Floor Spaces 21, 22, 23 Third Floor Spaces 34J, 35J, 36J
Why:	Domestic Water Outage - Faculty Offices North Building 47 To address a leak and make necessary repairs.

Construction Activity and Sidewalk Closure - North Perimeter Road and Village Drive
Schedule	Mar 21, 2026, 06:00 am — Sep 27, 2027, 03:00 pm
Affected Services:	Pedestrian traffic will be diverted from the north side sidewalk of North Perimeter Road and the west side sidewalk of Village Drive, due to construction activity. Please observe all traffic control measures, including detour signage, and exercise caution when near active construction zones.
Affected Location:	North Perimeter Road Village Drive Truckee Road
Why:	Construction Activity and Sidewalk Closure - North Perimeter Road and Village Drive For the construction of the Student Success Center.
Alternate Routes:	Pedestrian traffic to be diverted to the east sidewalk of Village Drive. Pedestrian traffic to be diverted to the south sidewalk of North Perimeter Road.
