EV Charging Stations

Cal Poly Maritime Academy EV charging is available in Lot A only. The campus has 30 ChargePoint charging spaces in Lot A, including three spaces at the north entrance for public, visitor and cadet use.

Before you charge: A valid Cal Poly Maritime Academy parking permit is required at all times when charging an electric vehicle on campus. Charging sessions are limited to four hours.

Who Can Use the Chargers?

Charging Rates

Cal Poly Maritime Academy charges for all ChargePoint EV charging stations. The fee covers electricity, maintenance and repair costs.

How to Start Charging

  1. Create or open a ChargePoint account using the ChargePoint app or chargepoint.com.
  2. Park in an available Lot A EV charging space and confirm your parking permit is valid.
  3. Start your charging session through ChargePoint.
  4. Move your vehicle before the four-hour maximum charging time. Charging sessions that exceed the maximum time may incur a penalty.
