Proper Display of Permit
Permit holders are responsible for ensuring their permit is clearly displayed before leaving the vehicle. Non-compliance results in a parking citation.
Display Requirements by Permit Type
| Permit Type | Where to Display |

| Decal Sticker | Affixed to the inside lower corner of the windshield nearest the driver, with all permit information clearly visible to enforcement staff. |
| Hang Tag Scratcher | Hung from the rear-view mirror or placed on the dash nearest the driver, fully visible. Do not block the VIN or place in a tinted area of the windshield. |
| Temporary / Pay Station | Placed on the dash nearest the driver, fully visible. Do not block the VIN or place in a tinted area of the windshield. |
Car Covers
The use of a car cover must be approved in advance by the Cal Poly Maritime Academy Police Department by completing the Car Cover Application.
- Car covers are used at your own risk; consider weather conditions that may affect placement.
- Your parking permit and license plate must remain clearly visible to enforcement staff at all times.
- Car covers are permitted during Summer Sea Term in Lots E and F with an approved application.
