Beware of Parking Permit Scams
Cal Poly Public Safety is aware of a parking permit scam. TAPS is the only authorized seller—be do not purchase second-hand permits online!!
Nearly a dozen construction projects will be underway on campus to help enhance university life in support of the Cal Poly Master Plan. These projects range from expanding the Cal Poly Tech Park to enlarging the Administration Building parking lot. During construction, parking lots and traffic patterns will be impacted.

New parking is being added to the PCV Inside Loop to increase capacity and improve access.
During the summer of 2024 Cal Poly started construction on a 10-year program to expand and improve campus housing to enhance the residential student experience and promote student success. The Housing Future Program will add 3,000-4,000 beds to campus housing and incorporate major renovations to University Housing's six red brick residence halls in multiple phases of construction to ease demand, accommodate growth, and address aging facilities. The program concept will be submitted to the CSU for Board of Trustees for approval at its July session.

Several parking lot projects will also be taking place throughout the summer, involving resealing, re-asphalting, and restriping. The work will be phased, with one lot impacted at a time.
