Information regarding collection notices sent by Citation Collection Services

A collections agency utilized by Cal Poly Transportation and Parking Services erroneously mailed out collections notices to a number of customers.

If you received a notice of collection for citations older than 5 years, please DISREGARD the notice. The vendor has been notified of this issue and will be mailing out confirmation notices indicating no financial responsibility on these citations within the next week. These erroneous collections notices will not appear in any credit reporting or credit history report.

If you already paid the notice of collection, you will be receiving a full refund of your payment. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

If the notice you received was for a citation less than 5 years old, the notice is valid. Please contact Citation Collection Services at 866-652-6920 should you have any questions regarding the citation.
