Faculty and Staff Parking
For Cal Poly State, ASI & Cal Poly Partners Employees.
Faculty and Staff permits are made available to Cal Poly's employees and enable them to park in
specially designated staff lots. Please review the campus parking Rules and Regulations prior to parking or purchasing a permit.
Finding a parking permit option that best fits your commute is easy using your parking account. Daily,
weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual parking permits are available online for purchase any time of
day at your union rate (if applicable). You can purchase permits online and update your vehicle
information using your parking
account
Permits sold in parking lots at pay stations, parking meters or by ParkMobile do not offer staff rates.
Parking permits are required for parking on campus during all academic breaks.
- Faculty and Staff parking permits for Summer Quarter go on sale June 9.
- Summer Quarter permits will be valid Monday, June 16 through Sunday, Sept. 7.
- Annual Parking Permits go on sale on June 9 and are valid Monday, June 16, through Sunday, June 14, 2026.

Payroll Deducted Parking
TO ENROLL
Employees of ASI and CPC can enroll or cancel payroll deducted parking with your respective Human
Resource department.
Eligible state employees are able to enroll, change, or cancel payroll deduction status through the Cal Poly
portal. Access the link by navigating to the “Personal Info” tab and access the link under “My Job
Tasks”.
TO CANCEL
State Staff and Faculty: For state faculty and staff who want to cancel their permit paid for by
payroll deduction, please complete the form under the Personal info tab in your Cal Poly Portal,
scroll down to the “My Job Tasks” section , you will see the update link to cancel your payroll
deduction and deactivate your parking permit. Cancellation requests must be submitted by the
3rd of the month in order for cancellation to take effect in current month.
CPC and ASI staff: CPC and ASI staff should contact their respective Human Resources departments to
cancel payroll deduction and deactivate their parking permits.
Staff Parking Information
Prior to purchasing a staff parking permit, please review the following information:

- Campus parking rules and regulations prior to parking on campus: Cal Poly Parking Rules & Regulations.
- Eligible employees may elect to have permit fees deducted from their paycheck. To start or stop
this deduction click on the “Personal Info” tab on your Portal. Under “My Job Tasks” the option of
“Enroll in Parking Permit Payroll Deduction” will be available if you are eligible to utilize this
option.
- Cal Poly works with its neighbors to reduce traffic flow and parking in nearby off-campus
neighborhoods. We are all expected to help Cal Poly be a good neighbor. In addition, most
surrounding streets and neighborhoods require a city parking permit or have limited time zones.
Permits are only available to the property owner or authorized recipient who currently reside
within the residential district boundaries.
- Paid permits are authorized for vehicle license plates linked to permit.
- Permits are not transferable and cannot be resold.
