Absence Management Self-Service

Project Overview

In accordance with a CSU directive, Cal Poly Payroll Services staff will begin implementation of Oracle/PeopleSoft Absence Management Self-Service (AMSS) with a go-live date planned for fall 2012. AMSS will replace the current paper "Exempt" and "Non-Exempt" pay and leave usage forms with an online application that allows:

  • Employee entry of leave time earned and taken
  • Hourly and premium pay requests
  • Timekeeper entry, review and reports
  • Manager entry, approval and reports

We will roll out the online self-service functionality in phases by scheduling pre-designated areas or departments from July 2012 through December 2012. Each campus department or division will be notified in advance. Training will be provided in the form of business process guides, video tutorials and in-person training sessions. This page will be updated as each new phase begins to provide links to more information or resources.
