Call to Order and Record Approval
Co-chair Cabeliza called the meeting to order at 12:13 p.m. The committee reviewed the November 14 meeting record and unanimously approved it. Lauren Daly abstained because she was absent from the November 14 meeting.
Review Funding Requests/Committee Vote
Co-chair Valadez presented an overview of the fiscal year 2026-2026 CPOF funding requests. He stated that Cal Poly Scholars had a $650,000 financial-aid gap and that $50,000 had been added for an EOP technology gap.
Ava Marino moved and Joe Fewel seconded approval of $2,645,795 in one-time funding and $1,013,073 in ongoing base funding. The motion passed unanimously. Co-chair Valadez stated that a $1.6 million residual in one-time funding would be discussed in spring.
Next Steps and Adjournment
The committee planned to reconvene in spring quarter to review fiscal year 2026-27 funding requests. The meeting adjourned at 12:23 p.m.
