Practicing Leadership in Hectic Times - Part 1: Understanding and Using Authority

Many people believe leadership is about amassing the most power and being in charge of people. While using authority can be an important part of practicing leadership, the concepts are also distinct. This session (the first of two) will discuss concepts and functions of authority, how authority relates to leadership, and strategies for using authority effectively in our work.
