Explore how to build on your foundational ChatGPT Edu skills in this interactive session designed for CSU employees. If you are comfortable with the basics and ready to deepen your practice, this session offers a practical next step. You will learn how to write more structured prompts, adapt AI-generated responses for different audiences, and personalize ChatGPT's tone and behavior using simple instruction settings. The session includes real-world, role-based examples drawn from higher education environments, such as professional emails, policy summaries, procedural documents, and outreach content. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, you will troubleshoot vague responses, refine prompt strategies, and build a personal prompt bank to streamline your academic or administrative responsibilities.

Who is this for?

This session is designed for CSU employees who are no longer beginners but not yet advanced in their use of ChatGPT Edu.

How will the learning take place?

This session includes short lectures, live demonstrations, guided prompt practice, and optional peer sharing. Participants will receive coaching and support throughout hands-on activities.

Are there pre-activities?

No required pre-activities. Attendees are encouraged to bring a real work task they would like help with, such as a communication, summary, or outline.
