Skateboard/Bicycle Diversion Class

  Skateboard/Bicycle Diversion Classes

The University Police Department, in cooperation with the San Luis Obispo Superior Court, offers a diversion class for eligible individuals who have been issued a citation.

You must contact the Court to determine your eligibility to attend the class.  If eligible, you must appear at the Traffic Department Counter to receive a continuance of your case and allow time for completion of the diversion course. Upon completion of the course, you will be given a Certificate of Completion that you must return to the court by the date specified.

As a standard rule, you may only attend a diversion course for one citation in any 12 month period.

You may register for a Diversion Class by completing the form below and submitting the requested information.

If you have any questions, you may contact the University Police Department Crime Prevention & Community Outreach unit by calling 805-756-5568 or emailing crimeprevention@calpoly.edu.
