Skateboard/Bicycle Diversion Class

  Skateboard/Bicycle Diversion Classes

Based on the current situation regarding COVID 19, these classes will be held on Zoom.

The University Police Department, in cooperation with the San Luis Obispo Superior Court, offers a diversion class for eligible individuals who have been issued a citation.

You must contact the Court to determine your eligibility to attend the class.  If eligible, you must appear at the Traffic Department Counter to receive a continuance of your case and allow time for completion of the diversion course. Upon completion of the course, you will be given a Certificate of Completion that you must return to the court by the date specified.

As a standard rule, you may only attend a diversion course for one citation in any 12 month period.

You may register for a Diversion Class by completing the form below and submitting the requested information.

If you have any questions, you may contact the University Police Department Crime Prevention & Community Outreach unit by calling 805-756-5568 or emailing
