Cal Poly offers a variety of free and sustainable transit options to help you get where you need to go—on campus, across San Luis Obispo, or throughout the county. Whether you’re commuting to class, heading downtown, or traveling farther, our bus services make it simple and convenient.
Use the Mustang Shuttle for quick and frequent rides around campus, SLO Transit to reach destinations throughout the city of San Luis Obispo, or RTA Regional Transit for longer trips connecting Cal Poly with surrounding communities in San Luis Obispo County. Cal Poly offers a free 1-Day Pass or 75% discounted 31-Day Pass for RTA to Cal Poly students, faculty, and staff. In addition Mustang Shuttle and SLO Transit services are free for Cal Poly students, faculty, and staff with a valid Cal Poly ID, supporting our shared commitment to sustainability and reduced parking demand.
