Aerial Lift Safety
Similar to some types of powered industrial trucks, an aerial lift is a vehicle-mounted device used to elevate personnel. These include, extendable boom platforms, aerial ladders, articulating boom platforms, vertical towers or any combination thereof. Users must be trained on lift operations, hazard recognition, balancing a load, inspections, and any additional requirements per the manufacturer’s recommendations.
