Access Control Program

Project Summary:

This Access Control project establishes defined Campus Standards for physical security through a common access control platform intended to enhance the safety and security of individuals and property. Campus Wide enhanced security will be achieved by implementing access control mechanisms and managing the issuance of keys to ensure that only authorized individuals, including employees and students, can access specific areas within campus buildings. The system will also ensure unrestricted access for University Police, maintenance and safety personnel to all campus areas for their roles related to security, safety and health. The standards for access control will utilize a single, proprietary access control system that will provide a uniform standard.
