Bulletin Boards
In accordance with Fire & Life Safety regulations, bulletin boards installed in facility corridors may not exceed two square feet in size. Any board larger than two square feet must be in glass or Plexiglas covered to meet the State Fire Marshal's requirements. Departments desiring to install a new bulletin board may submit a permit to the Facilities Help Center. Please include specifications such as dimensions and materials.
There are a number of public bulletin boards on campus. Under Campus Administrative Policy (CAP) 144.6 and 144.7 these boards may be used by the campus community and public to post non-commercial and commercial temporary signs and flyers. For more information please refer directly to CAP 144.

Please note:
“Temporary signage may not be placed on the outside of buildings (walls, doors, windows, roofs or steps) or on interior doors, windows, walls, floors or ceilings.
Temporary signage may not be placed on trees, poles, traffic signs, trashcans, fences or hillsides. Signage may also not obstruct the entrances or exits of buildings or the line of vision to vehicular or pedestrian traffic. Posting of signage on vehicles without the owner’s permission is also not permitted.” – CAP 144.7
