Residence Hall Road

Project Summary:

The existing roadway will be demolished and replaced with a new roadway. The new roadway will be expanded with the addition of a new retaining wall on the uphill side and a new pedestrian sidewalk on the downhill. Construction has begun on this project and will continue throughout the Fall and early Spring semesters. Alternate pedestrian routes during these closures are:

• Residents of MacAllister Hall should use Faculty Drive and Maritime Academy Drive to travel to and from lower campus.
• Upper Residence Hall occupants can access the lower campus by using the stairs at the west end of Upper Residence Hall, as well as the central or west stairs from Lower Residence Hall, while the east stairs to lower campus are closed.
