Solar PV and Battery Storage

Project Summary:

The project addresses strategic management of campus utilities by adding about 2.7 megawatts (MW) of solar photovoltaic panels and 1 MW of battery storage to the campus renewable energy portfolio. A power purchase agreement (PPA) is fundamental to the project’s strategic outcome. The initiative will help the campus meet code requirements for future capital projects while supporting the university’s goals for operational efficiency and climate resilience.
