• I am having trouble logging in to CSUBUY, what do I do?

  Please call SBS at 805-756-2232

• Can I have multiple carts open?

  Yes, for more information please see our business process guide and navigate to that section

• Are students allowed to use CSUBUY?

  Student access for CSUBUY requires an approved purpose and special handling. Please contact SBS at 756-2232

• I shop for multiple different ProCard holders, can I store more than one card?

  Yes, you can. Please see the business process guide for more information

• How do security roles get assigned? Who determines which role is given?

  If you have a ProCard you are assigned as a Requester, meaning you can submit orders for purchase. If you do not have a ProCard you can be a Shopper and assign your cart to a Requester for purchase. For more details, please see our business process guide

• Can I order from more than one catalog in one cart?

  Yes, all items you purchase from different suppliers land in one active cart. These can be completed at checkout together, but will result in separate “PO’s” per supplier

• Ship To – Can I use different delivery addresses depending on the order?

  Yes, you can toggle between the two “ship to” addresses Cal Poly uses. Please see the business process guide for more details on addresses

• Where do I find messages from my campus on CSUBUY?

  Your landing page is your dashboard in CSUBUY. Any important information will be displayed here. You can also choose to receive email notifications when this message changes. Check your notification settings in your profile.

• Reports – How do I print receipts? How do I access reports? How do I review my orders?

  Please see the reporting section of the business process guide

• Can we add a supplier?

  At this time, the suppliers enabled are approved and configured by the CSU. As time goes on, more suppliers will be added to CSUBUY

• What can be purchased in CSUBUY? Are there minimums for suppliers like Staples?

  The same rules are applied as previously used in ESM

• How are CSUBUY purchases reconciled?

  They are reconciled during your regular ProCard reconciliation period. See our website for more details on the ProCard reconciliation process

• Will there be other opportunities for training?

  We are seeking input on what other types of training you might need. CSUBUY in this phase is fairly simple, but if there is a topic not covered please let us know so we can assist with specific training

• Previous history – will any history from ESM be transferred to CSUBUY?

  No, all orders placed through 5/22/20 will be viewable in ESM until 7/15/20 at which time the icon will be removed from the Apps on My Cal Poly

• Do the catalogs have a back button? A cancel button? A modify button?

  If you click a punch out catalog in error, you can use the “Cancel Punch out” button typically found in the upper right corner of your catalog window
