Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo
Cal Poly is a nationally ranked, four-year, comprehensive public university and is part of the 23-campus California State University system. Founded in 1901, the 6,000-acre campus is nestled in the foothills of San Luis Obispo, along California's scenic central coast and midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. The emphasis of the University is a "learn by doing" educational experience for its students.

University Housing also provides information to help acquaint New Faculty and Staff with both the Cal Poly and San Luis Obispo area communities.
